Wow! Amazing place in which entirely exceeded our expectations. We stopped here for a couple nights on our honeymoon and it was well worth the trip. First they kindly greeted us upon arrival with upgrading us to one of their junior suites with a view overlooking the vineyard and French countryside. They added a special touch with hearts laid out on the bed and some tasty chocolates. Between the spa (best massage I have ever rec'd), the stunning views, the staff, the pool, the bike rentals and incredible paths, and the restaurants we absolutely enjoyed every minute. Highly recommended and a big thank you to Le Coquillade for making this a stop on our honeymoon we will never forget!

An absolutely stunning hotel with an amazing restaurant. We had dinner at the more casual restaurant our first nice staying at another hotel nearby. The grounds are amazing and we showed up early so had a glass of rose at the bar as the sunset. Then had dinner and did the set menu with two choices for each of three courses and all the courses were stunning. Beautiful and delicious, truly one of our best meals of the trip. But, overall this place was very stuffy! I am sure that is what they were going for and it is clear that people there had money to spend and wanted the scene, so just a warning for anyone going. It was a bit too stiff and formal for my liking!

The meal of our trip, no mean feat given La Coquillade was up against Per Se and L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon. From the moment we sauntered out onto the devastatingly beautiful alfresco dining space we were overwhelmed with a sense of occasion. There are many meal options carefully explained in Engligh, they included 4 courses, 6 courses, and the options we selected the 'premier dining' option, all courses! And it began, each dish more stunning than the last. Utmost respect to ingredients was shown and astonishing combinations, foie gras, gingerbread and rhubarb - who would have thought? The fried risotto with lobster tail and tomato based foam confirmed our choice of meal option (not available on the smaller course options). Our delightful waitress was ever present but never intrusive. Each of the four starters deserves five stars alone and at the cheese trolley, I nearly wept. Six generous slices of cheese with condiments was a meal in itself. The first dessert was our dish of the night. Boy partner declared best dessert of his life. A cream filled profiterole with woven caramel atop a green tea mousse and passionfruit jelly. I simply cannot convey how amazing this meal was, I hope my pictures do some justice to what was a night that will be remembered forever.
